Description
Loreti e Sibilla is a Milan-based artisanal carpentry workshop crafting bespoke, high-end furniture where traditional woodworking meets contemporary art and Italian design. The furniture brand website translates this identity into a single, immersive page — editorial typography, flowing image strips and a curated gallery — built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS and a fully editable Sanity CMS.

The challenge
Loreti & Sibilla make bespoke, high-end furniture in a Milan workshop, where traditional woodworking meets contemporary art and Italian design. Craft at that level is hard to sell through a website: the value is in material, joinery and finish, none of which survives a generic catalogue grid of thumbnails. The site had to feel closer to a design monograph than to a product listing, while still being editable by people whose day is spent at a bench, not a keyboard.
My approach
The whole site is a single immersive page: editorial typography, flowing image strips and a curated gallery that lets each piece hold the frame rather than compete in a grid. It is built in Next.js with Tailwind CSS for the layout control that kind of typography needs, and every image, caption and section of text is managed in Sanity so the workshop can add new commissions themselves.
The outcome
loretiesibilla.it presents the workshop as a design studio rather than a supplier: one continuous page that carries the identity, the craft and the completed pieces. The Sanity back end means new work goes up as it leaves the workshop, without a developer.
