Syntro is a Ruby on Rails web app and all-in-one social media management platform designed to centralise strategy, content creation and team collaboration in a single workspace. The project streamlines the workflow of social media managers and creative agencies, merging editorial planning with client communication tools in a clean, intuitive interface.

The challenge
Social media managers and creative agencies run their work across too many tools at once: a planning spreadsheet, a design file, a chat thread with the client and a separate approval loop. Every handoff between those tools is where content gets lost or published late. Syntro set out to collapse strategy, content creation and team collaboration into a single workspace — which meant the interface had to stay simple while covering an entire workflow.
My approach
The product is organised around the editorial calendar as the single source of truth, with content creation and client communication attached to the same items rather than living elsewhere. It is a custom Ruby on Rails application rather than an assembly of off-the-shelf pieces, which gives full control over the data model that ties planning, assets and approvals together.
The outcome
syntrosocial.com runs as a working all-in-one workspace for social media teams: strategy, content and client approval in one place, so a post moves from idea to published without leaving the tool.
